from Pastor Raymond Jordan

Hello, Bethany Family.

I am thrilled to report that services will resume at Bethany on Mother’s Day, May 10 at 11:00 AM. We will not be having the evening service at this time. Wednesday evening Bible Study will also resume on May 13th at 7:00 P.M. Our Youth Group – the Bethany Beacons – will not resume at this time; however, we will be revisit this decision at the end of May..

Here is a summary of the guidelines we are asking each individual to adhere to:

-If you are feeling sick or suspect you may be coming down with something, please stay at home.

-Practice physical distancing by maintaining appropriate distance (at least 6 feet) between people.

-Maintain good hygiene by washing your hands frequently, using hand sanitizer, covering coughs and sneezes, and not touching your face.

-If you wish, you can wear masks and gloves (the church will have these available if you need them).

When you arrive at the church:

-Please enter and exit using the new ADA (handicap) entrance. This is on the horse shoe side of the church. One of the Trustees will be assisting with entering and exiting the doors so that no one has to touch them.

-The bulletins, offering plate and hand sanitizers will be available in the foyer. Soaps, towels and hand sanitizers will be available in the restrooms.

-Please respect the space of others (and this will be the hardest part of all), and refrain from shaking hands and hugging each other.

-After the service ends, we will dismiss from the back of the church to the front.  AGAIN, PLEASE REMEMBER TO KEEP THE APPROPRIATE DISTANCE from others, and refrain from gathering in the foyer in groups. If you wish to talk with someone after church has dismissed, please go to the parking lot and maintain a safe distance.

We Love our church family, but we must protect each and every one of you. At the end of May, we will re-assess the situation and decide how to move forward.

If you have any questions or concerns at all, please call me. Vanessa and I are always here for you.

Sincerely, Pastor Ray
